Always Waiting
Water Soluble Oil on Canvas
20” × 24”
This was one of my earlier works and marked the beginning of developing my own visual style. Inspired by Edvard Munch, I took his emotional intensity and brought it into today's world, filtered through my own experience of isolation. Prison is built around waiting—waiting for a shower, waiting for a move to the yard, waiting to be free. Always Waiting captures that state of limbo, where time drags and hope stretches thin. It's a portrait of stillness, tension, and the quiet weight of passing days.
** Please note: All canvas works are unstretched and without frame. Images are here so you can get an idea of painting size and possible ways to display in your home.
